Research Interests: Summary
The main focus of my research is to apply various kinds of algorithms to abstract raw sensor data to get something useful and interpretable to humans out of it. More specific, I believe that having lots of simple sensors will give better results than the classic approach of using few, ‘smart’ sensors and that adaptive algorithms should be used that learn from real-world data from the user. Exploring how to deploy sensor modules in everyday environments, I also worked on generic projects that facilitate this vision, such as Smart-Its and Pin&Play. |
