Research Interests: Summary
My main research interests are pervasive gaming and domestic UbiComp. To date, I have been involved with a number of different gaming projects: Yoshi, IPerG, Participate and MobiMissions. I have also worked on many other projects including augmented reality authoring toolkits, wearable medical sensing and the visualisation of cosmological supercomputer simulations. During the course of my career I have undertaken placements at the HIT Lab NZ and IBM Hursley's Emerging Technologies Services department. My PhD research focused on the issues surrounding mobility in large scale, wide area distributed computer systems. Current Projects: Participate, MobiMissions, iPerG, Equator Domestic, Inscape, DRS. |
