Research Interests:

HCI, UI design/development, systems and socio implications for ubiquitous computing, human centred approaches for networking and distributed systems

Broadly speaking, my research centres on enabling novel user experiences in a world of richly interconnected devices and software services. A driving theme for my research has been to develop and support interactive distributed applications that promote diverse arrangements of displays, devices, network services and users, and yet remain easy and intuitive for people to use. I'm interested in the underlying software architecture and infrastructure implications as well as those relating to HCI and usability.
