Research Interests:

Toolkit support for ubiquitous and pervasive computing

Summary

I am a research fellow working in the Mixed Reality Laboratory at Nottingham University, who has previously been involved in various areas of Equator, including the Equator Antarctice eScience project. I am currently working with the Equator Component Toolkit (ECT), a tool which aims to support the rapid design and assembly of ubiquitous and pervasive computing experiences. As well as providing development support for this tool, I am interested in developing methodologies to assess the impact of newly-provided tools on multi-site, multi-disciplinary computing collaborations. I am also currently working with Equator researchers at Goldsmiths college in London, developing installations for deployment in the domestic environment.
