Research Interests: Summary
My research interest centres on real-time embodiment in virtual space. I am interested in researching possibilities that would render the body perceptible without re-creating the humanoid or linguistic behaviour. Moreover, I am working on preserving the users signature through abstract yet authentic representation. By utilising datasets derived from body-sensing technology, especially non-invasive, I would like to convey the inner self, such as the emotional state, by mapping to the dimensions of form, colour, sound, and movement. I am aiming to develop a conceptual model, which would allow for further research towards specific applications and multi-user interaction. |
