Real-time structure from motion algorithm for use in augmented reality

The system is being designed with general and realistic environments in mind where few assumptions can be made about the nature of the problem and it is difficult to uniquely identify visual features in an image sequence. Currently a range of particle-filtering techniques are being explored to facilitate this.
